Founded in 2017 as an innovative, technology-focused industrial company, Koz İplik was established to meet strategic needs within Turkey’s weaving sector. Our primary mission is to eliminate Turkey’s dependence on imports for weatherstrips (insulation strips) and to create a domestic brand capable of competing in the global market.

Production Capacity and Infrastructure

We operate one of the industry’s leading production facilities, with an annual capacity of 150 million meters. Our modern plant spans 10,000 m² indoors and is equipped with state-of-the-art weaving machines and automation systems. Throughout our manufacturing process, we rigorously adhere to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards.

Technological Advantages

Our core product line consists of pile weatherstrips woven from multi-filament polypropylene (PP) yarns, manufactured using UV-stabilized PP granules. The technical specifications of our products include:

• 3,600 filaments per cm² density
• 0.70 mm PP base thickness
• 150–160°C softening point
• 30–60% elongation at break
• 85–90% thermal recovery rate

These characteristics give our products the capacity for long-lasting, high-performance on aluminum, PVC, and composite surfaces.
